Apple Health Integration for Automatic Data Sync
SENPRO is a great tool for tracking nutrition, but it lacks a crucial feature for active users: integration with Apple Health. As someone who runs frequently and participates in multiple sports activities, all my workout data—type of sport, duration, distance, calories burned, effort, etc.—is already stored in Apple Health via my Apple Watch and Strava. Additionally, I use a smart scale that logs my weight directly into Apple Health every time I step on it. Currently, SENPRO only focuses on calorie intake, but it should also consider calorie expenditure and other key health metrics. My nutritionist estimates my daily calorie burn, and having this data automatically synced from Apple Health would make it much easier to track progress and adjust my nutrition as needed. Similarly, my weight is already available in Apple Health, yet I still have to enter it manually into SENPRO. Suggested Integration: • Automatic Import of Workouts: SENPRO should sync with Apple Health to automatically pull in all logged activities, eliminating the need for manual input. • Weight and Other Health Data Sync: The app should fetch weight measurements and other relevant health metrics directly from Apple Health, so users don’t have to log them twice. • Comprehensive Activity & Health Tracking: The integration should capture key details such as sport type, duration, distance, calories burned, effort, weight, and other relevant health data. • Seamless Data Sync: Users should be able to toggle Apple Health integration on/off and choose which data to import. Manually logging workouts and weight is time-consuming and redundant when all this data is already available on the iPhone. By implementing Apple Health integration, SENPRO would provide a more complete picture of both nutrition and health, making it a much more powerful tool for users and their nutritionists.
